I, Glen Grayson, am the owner of Sportsman’s RV Kamp, and am the only person with money invested in this effort and in the cost this web site. I Will make this website a Free gift to the Operating Engineers RV Club as soon as we have 500 members signed up and have elected officers. I simply would like to be recognized as the “Founder of the Operating Engineers RV Club”
I assume I owe the operating engineers that much since my operating engineers retirement has built “The Sportsman’s Hunting, Fishing and RV Clubs”
The Sportman’s only has 8 RV sites as of 8.10.13 but will be increasing to 45 sites, with covered RV sites to park your RV and carports for your vehicle or boat. We’ve had carports for years, but the RV ports are something new, and we just may be the only RV business to have them. They will all be 20′ wide with three different lengths of 35′ 40′ and 45′. They will all be blue and white with two 20′ flag poles to fly your country’s flag and one for your state/Provence flag. We have 650′ of state HWY frontage with 3 entrances all with an electric gate.
I have made the Sportsman’s RV Kamp a temporary home for the Operating Engineers RV Club until we can build our own park. This is a nice area and could be considered by the charter members as a place to build an RV park. We could get a 99 year lease from the Corp of Engineers to build an RV Park right here on Pat Mayse Lake at Lamar Point about 11 miles NW of Paris, Texas. The Elk’s Club did just that and now have their own boat ramp and RV park.
Sportsman’s RV Kamp is located in the middle of several thousand acres of public hunting, some being Corps of Engineers property, and the rest Texas Wildlife management area.
